The Experiment.

In the afternoon Mr Barks invited us to do a experiment about the power of pressure with dried ice. We walked out of school grounds and down to the pt.england reserve then stopped near the playground. I was so excited!

The dried ice is minus 78 C. which is very cold,it could give you blisters. (if it is dried ice it will not turn into water it will not turn straight into gas)

First of all Mr barks put some dried ice in the bottle and put the cap on very tightly, then added water. After that room 15 and 18 kids all counted down from 20 and when it reached zero the bottle exploded ''BOOM''
Now he did another one (again) with a mitten on this time... when we counted down from 20 again. The mitten teared apart. Everyone was Amazed!!
