Walking into assembly, I realised that there was thousands of big camera’s and paparazzi from Hallensteins,one news, Erin simpson show and many more! Looking around, I spotted this guy who was dressed all in black. I was wondering who it was that was walking in and it was ‘WILL.I.AM!!!!’
I was shocked and full of excitement as he went up to the front of the hall. I waved at him and he waved back, I felt very happy as he walked past me because I couldn’t believe that a famous celebrity like him would come to our school Pt England.
The reason why he came to our school was because we do good work online and we blog. He was talking about how he was young. He lived in a poor neighborhood with a single mother and didn’t know his father, and when he grew up he became a superstar. He wants to inspire us to be whatever we want in life so he donated our school $100.000.
If you don’t know him, he is a singer/rapper in the Black Eyed Pea’s with Fergie, Taboo and Apl.De.Ap. They are a Worldwide Alternative Hip Hop group that went viral in 2009. The first song they created was ‘Phunk with my heart’ that sold 100’s of copies. My favorite song from Will.I.am is ‘That Power’ I really like that song.
